Jag Shack is the official student-run merchandise store at Pembroke Pines Charter High School (PPCHS), operated by students as part of a school-sponsored program. This policy explains what information we collect through jagshack.com, why we collect it, and how it's protected. If you have questions, contact us at jagshack@pinescharter.net.

Information We Collect

• Account information: if you create a Student/Faculty account, we collect your first and last name, PPCHS student ID, and school email address. Jag Shack Staff accounts use a school email plus a staff access code — no password is stored for staff sign-in beyond what's needed to authenticate.
• Order/reservation details: if you use the reservation form, we collect your name, email, student ID, grade, and the items you're requesting so staff can prepare your order for pickup.
• Internal staff communications: messages, tasks, calendar entries, and announcements posted by staff in the Staff Shack tools are stored and visible to other staff accounts only.
• Aggregate product interest: we log anonymous, non-identifying counts of which product pages get viewed so staff can see what's popular. This is never tied to your name or account.

We do not use third-party advertising trackers, and we do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.

How We Use It

Information is used only to run the store: creating and securing your account, preparing and fulfilling in-store pickups, coordinating Jag Shack staff operations, and improving what we stock. We don't use your information for anything beyond operating Jag Shack.

Who Can See Your Information

Account and order data is access-controlled — only you and authorized Jag Shack staff can see it. Staff-only tools (chat, tasks, calendar, reservation queue) are restricted to verified staff accounts and are never publicly visible. Anything published publicly on the site (like our Team Directory) is limited to what the featured person agreed to have shown — see "Photos & Likeness" below.

Third-Party Services

• MyPaymentsPlus: all payments are completed on MyPaymentsPlus, a separate platform we don't operate. Their handling of your payment information is governed by their own privacy policy and terms, not this one.
• Supabase: our account, order, and internal-tools data is stored with Supabase, our backend provider.
• Vercel: jagshack.com is hosted on Vercel.

Photos & Likeness

Students featured in our Team Directory or as product models have agreed to have their name, photo, and/or bio published on the site and on Jag Shack's social media as part of their participation in the program. If you (or, for a minor, your parent/guardian) would like a photo, bio, or listing corrected or removed, contact us at jagshack@pinescharter.net and we'll take it down.

Students & Minors

Most Jag Shack customers and team members are PPCHS students, many of whom are under 18. This site is intended for use by the PPCHS community as part of a school-sponsored program, and we only collect what's needed to run the store. Parents or guardians with questions about a student's information can reach out to us directly, or to PPCHS administration.

Cookies & Local Storage

We use only what's strictly necessary to keep you signed in (an authentication session). We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Your Choices

You can review or update your account details any time you're signed in. To request a copy, correction, or deletion of your information, email jagshack@pinescharter.net.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as Jag Shack's tools change. The date at the top will always reflect the most recent update.
